The Ham and High has reported that Myleene Klass got into a playground row with a fellow mum while picking her child up from school on Thursday, after the presenter posted emails from mothers asking for donations for presents for their children online.

According to the paper:

The radio presenter was picking up seven-year-old daughter Ava from her private school in north London this afternoon when a fellow parent, whose daughter was the subject of the email, called across the playground: “Why did you do it, Myleene? Why?”

Myleene shouted back: “If you’ve got a problem with it, talk to me in private.”

The paper also quoted other parents who didn’t wish to be named, including one who described Klass’s post as “distasteful and [a] cheap shot” and another who said: “She has really pissed everyone off. It is so out of order. She isn’t going to have any friends left and we are the ones she relies on to pick up her daughter for her when she is late.”

One point made by the parents in the paper’s story, which Klass didn’t make clear in her post, is the fact she posted the emails a year after they were sent — which is one reason some are accusing her of trying to get attention.

It’s not the first time she’s been accused of that: In 2011 the journalist Marina Hyde cast doubt on Klass’s claims to have stolen toilet paper from a Vatican property and to have given birth under a false name to avoid getting special treatment, and in 2010 Hyde asked questions about an incident in which Klass claimed to have threatened some teenagers with a knife.

9. Maybe it’s because of Labour’s mansion tax pledge? Here’s a reminder of the last time Klass had to lay down the law.

  1. Why are the British middle-classes being so punchy at the moment?

    1. This is what happens when you let Russian oligarchs push school fees and the price of nannies up.
    2. They’re getting edgy in case Labour win the election and actually do any of the things they say they will.
    3. Fears of another eurozone crisis now Syriza have got in in Greece.
    4. They just figured Klass was minted so it was worth a go.

    6. All of the above.
